When the Log Rolls Over We Will All Be Dead
The Haunting Sound
One time, a couple, Ben and Diane, received a chance to take a free cruise around the Caribbean. When they arrived at the port, they noticed how few passengers were getting about the tiny ship. It wasn’t really a cruise ship after all, just a converted old navy ship that had been repurposed.
The boarded the ship and went to their rooms to unpack. That’s when they heard it, a faint melody from down the hall.
“da-da-daa-da-da-da da-da-daa-da-da…”
It was a haunting tune. Ben turned to Diane, who he could see was freaked out. But they thought, perhaps it was just some kids messing about. They ignored the sound and kept unpacking.
Later that night, they returned to their room from dinner to change into more comfortable clothes. As the key was inserted into the door, they heard it again, but this time a little more clearly.
“When da-daa-da-over we da-daa be dead…”
The Investigation
It echoed through the hall and Ben and Diane froze. Surely, no one would still be pulling a dumb prank like this hours later. They decided they had to find out what was going on. They went down the flight of steps across just down from their room. They heard it again, this time…
